Ink On Paper

I thought some of you might wonder why I might choose to include a portfolio of abstract black and white photographs alongside my architectura and editorial work which is nearly always in color. It’s not an unreasonable question to ask.

Now, from my current vantage point, I see broad themes running through decades of work. The work I’m currently showing on the site’s Personal page is from a series I refer to as Ink On Paper. These images are typically detailed abstractions taken from nature. These photos for me, as a working photographer, are a reduction of things seen to light and form. Shooting them on hikes and climbs is a bit like a meditation.

Be assured, these images and the Personal page will be updated with regularity. You can also find me on Facebook and Instagram. Simply click the icons below.

I thank you for your interest in my work.
